Breast Cancer Surgeon Dr. Jay Harness to Deliver Presidential Address in Japan

Dr. Jay Harness, president of Breast Surgery International, is scheduled to deliver his keynote Presidential Address at 3:00 PM Wednesday, August 31, to BSI members while attending the International Society of Surgery‘s International Surgical Week conference in Yokohama, Japan.

Dr. Harness will address the topic of Bridging the Gap in Breast Cancer Care: The Role of Breast Surgeons & Their Organizations.

Dr. Harness will be introduced by Dr. Polly Cheung. Dr. Cheung is the founder of the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation, and a colleague of Dr. Harness at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Harness, from his patient care and treatment office in Orange, California, travels the world to speak of his oncoplastic reconstruction philosophy in treating those diagnosed with breast cancer.

According to Dr. Harness:

Speaking before the Breast Surgery International membership while in Japan offers the opportunity to further share my We Live You philosophy of patient care and treatment, and how this medical approach offers surgical and emotional reconstruction to women faced with a breast cancer diagnosis.
