Dr. Jay Harness Speaking to Academy of Surgery of Detroit on March 10

The Academy of Surgery of Detroit is hosting Dr. Jay Harness at its winter meeting this Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at the Randolph Suite of the Detroit Athletic Club, located at 241 Madison Avenue in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Harness will address meeting attendees on the topic of nipple-sparing mastectomy, and reasons to recommend the use of this treatment approach for patients with a positive breast cancer diagnosis.

Also scheduled to speak is Nayana Dekhne, MD, Chairman of the Breast Care Program, at Beaumont Hospitals.

Dr. Harness, from his patient care and treatment office in Orange, California, travels the world to speak of his oncoplastic reconstruction philosophy in treating those diagnosed with breast cancer.

According to Dr. Harness:

Speaking before the Academy of Surgery of Detroit offers an opportunity to further share my We Live You philosophy of patient care and treatment, and how this medical approach offers emotional reconstruction to women faced with a breast cancer diagnosis.
